Message Well after a month or so of meddling with the issue about my timing belt my appointment for the timing belt change arrived. Yesterday on the 16th I took a mini trip to SpecialtyZ, after about 2 hours of drive I arrived at SpecialtyZ. The traffic was horrible...this was one of the times I was glad I have an auto. Anyways I got to SpecialtyZ and met Seb and Greg, they are extremely nice and hospitable. After all the introductions Seb started working on the car immediately. Since I didn't have a ride back home I had to stay there until the work was done...All I can say is that im glad I stayed because it was one of the best days for me. Neither Seb or Greg got mad at me for being around the shop or asking so many questions or being nosy :P ...I learned so much while I got to check out so many Z related parts that I never seen in person. LaBree exhaust is absoloutely gorgeous and that UR Pully weighs so little comparing to the stock pully.

While Seb was working hard on the car I didn't want to bother him so I talked with Greg alot. After an hour or so I was offered something that I wasn't able to refuse...I had never rode in a twin turbo car..hell not even a turbo car and now I was offered to take a ride in a 600hp beast. OMG I had no freaking clue that it would be THAT fast. Now I understand why you TT guys put the NAs down so much...there is nothing that can be compared to a modified 300ZX TwinTurbo. We drove around in his TT alot...for the first few drives Greg had slicks on so it was amazing how the car would perform. After all the fun I had driving around and lunch we returned to the shop where my car was completely finished and ready to go. The work was done after 4-5 hours.

Now here is the part that made me understand why so many people recommend SpecialtyZ. When me and Greg returned to the shop and took care of the financial business I mentioned something about my window washers being screwy and working backwards...and he made me bring the car back in so he could fix it for me. I said that its ok and I don't want to bother them but he insisted that he wants to fix it so I brought the car back in and he fixed the problem...he even fixed the issue I was having with my bumper and my passanger side foglight. I understand that these problems were nothing serious but I can't believe that he insisted so much on fixing it for me and wanting me to leave SpecialtyZ happy.

It was a long day but fun day. After all the work was done I said bye to Seb and Greg and took off for Irvine. Its a previlege to all Southern California Z owners that SpecialtyZ is close by, they truly know what they are doing. 2 thumbs up for SpecialtyZ and planning on going back at 150K.
